The Chinese People’s Liberation Army’s engineering corps recently launched a drill of establishing floating bridge, aiming to test the corps’ capacity of throwing a floating bridge during combat. The rapid water currents and the hard bottom soil of the Yangtze River made it difficult for installation. The video footage shows soldiers threw a 1,150-meter-long steel bridge in just 26 minutes and 40 seconds. All 50 military vehicles successfully passed through the Yangtze River in the end. Take a look at the entire process and their splendid work!
