KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has begun the hearing on a case filed against the appointment of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority Chief Lok Man Singh Karki.

A full bench of Justices Ishwor Prasad Khatiwada, Ananda Mohan Bhattarai and Anil Kumar Sinha started the hearing on the case today.

Advocates Ramesh Badal, Surendra Bhandari, Tika Ram Bhattarai, Govinda Bandi, Chandrakant Gyawali, Sambhu Thapa , Ravi Khanal, Sunil Pokharel and Bijay Mishra had presented their statements in support of the writ petitioner, Om Prakash Aryal.

Advocate Aryal had filed the writ against Karki stating that the appointment was against the Constitution of Nepal.
