One hundred and seventy-one limit stones along the Nepal-India fringe in Bardiya locale are absent, as per the Armed Police Force (APF) conveyed for outskirt security.
It is difficult to tell where the no-man’s-land starts and where it closes without the limit markers, one APF officer said.
As indicated by the District Administration Office, there were 43 fundamental, 66 auxiliary and 137 minor limit markers along the Nepal-India outskirt in Bardiya. Today, there are just 75.
A few people living close fringe zone say the Indian side has infringed around one kilometer zone at Bansi timberland which falls into Nepal’s region. As there are no fringe markers, they say the Indian side is assuming control over the Nepali land.
Sahadat Ali Dhobi of Gulariya-9 asserted more than 2 bighas of land that he possesses was powerfully assumed control by Rajdev Gaud of Bahraich, India.
