Speech of Bamdev Gautam in parliament

5:00 AM

Legislators of fundamental restriction CPN-UML hindered the parliament meeting on Thursday dissenting the constitution correction charge tabled by the legislature.

UML Vice Chairman Bamdev Gautam, tending to the parliament not long after the meeting started, said that they won’t give the House procedures a chance to advance saying the change charge as ‘against national’.

“The parliament turned Constituent Assembly has no rights to alter state limits. Subsequently, this proposition is illegal,” said Gautam naming the administration move hostile to national, “Federalism is about advancing together in solidarity with the mountain, slope and tarai districts, it’s not about making multi-states through division.”

UML officials ascended from their seats after which Speaker Onsari Gharti Magar deferred the meeting for 3 pm Friday.
