4:04 AM

I was born in Namche Bazar of Solukhumbu district. My father expired when I was only 3 years old. So My mother slogged a lot to raise us. I have an elder sister and a small sister. In BS 2034, my mother brought us to Kathmandu and I continued my education here. She ran a restaurant and sold momos to make the ends meet. Everybody in my family and community respects her. She is a Goddess in our family and I adore her more then anything. Its all because of her that I have gained the present position in my life. Had she not been my mother, life would have not been that easy. I finished my college from Amrit Science college, Askal. I loved trekking and did a lot of it. After finishing my school, I went trekking. I started the trekking from Pokhra and it ended in jumla. I passed through the Jaljala and all the other mountains. After that I started working in Khumbila, which belonged to my uncle. I worked there for 3 years. So in March of 1995, I went to Kailash Mansarovar trek. During the trek I had to stop at Simikot for a week because of the weather condition. - See more at: http://www.sajhapagenews.com/captain-pasang-norbu-sherpa-interview/#sthash.UIQyWcEm.dpuf
