In the wake of taking the pledge of office and mystery, the recently named wellbeing pastor Gagan Thapa has accepted office on Friday.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari directed Thapa the vow of office and mystery as wellbeing clergyman at Sheetal Niwas at the beginning of today.

Thapa has been picked from the Sitaula group of the Nepali Congress. Gagan Thapa and Bhimsen Das Shrestha were in the race for one pastoral portfolio designated for the Sitaula group.
