Private and community schools based in Rautahat district closed on Sunday to mourn the loss of seven teachers from the district in Friday’s tragic bus fall into Trishuli that killed at least 22 people. The community schools chose to shut for a day at the call of Nepal Teachers’ Federation, while private schools closed at the call of Private and Boarding Schools Organisation Nepal.
