After getting strangled by a giant python in Queensland, a celebrity pest controller got much more than he bargained. This happened while filming a reality TV program. While recording the new show ‘Deadliest Pests Down Under’, Craig Freeman came face to face with the python in a shed on Airlie Beach. The show will be aired in Britain next month. As Freeman grabs the snake under its head, the footage shows local expert Kylie instructing about how to handle the reptile. -She tells Freeman ‘Don’t let his head go, whatever you do’ as he tries to get to grips with the now violently twisting snake. Freeman starts to play up to the camera for effect but it alarms the python. The python panics so much that it starts to constrict even more. When the struggling reptile begins coiling its body around Freeman’s neck, the situation goes from bad to worse. Before long he is gasping for breath and clearly is in distress. Freeman’s face goes progressively redder, as the python’s grip tightens. Later on he turns purple as the python increases its deadly grip around his neck. -
